Clean place with mountain views and attentive staff. Savoury food, appropriately priced. All in all absolutely perfect setting near the mountain, and the start of Ruta de Cares. Also, on exiting the "salida " sign was over the door to the restaurant.

The hotel is clean, simple and has absolutely perfect location in the mountain. The staff has always been very friendly. The room is appropriately priced. Recommend it as we liked this venue.

The staff were helpful and always had a smile. There were central heating, multi-channel television, and a writing table in the room, appreciated that. It included a comfortable bed and a private bathroom. The service was good, the food was good!

The location near Ruta del Cares is mind-blowing, just a short walk away! The recently renovated rooms are super comfortable and spotlessly clean. The delicious breakfast with freshly pressed orange juice is jaw-dropping. The menu for dinner and lunch is excellent, offering great options at a competitive price. Don't miss out on the best sandwich for the hike - the one with Cabrales' blue cheese! The staff is super friendly and the rice pudding for dessert is a must-try. Can't wait to come back!

Mind-blowing stay! The location was jaw-dropping, perfect for hiking and exploring nearby villages. The super friendly staff ensured our room was cleaned daily, with stunning mountain views. Breakfast was basic but okay, and they even made sandwiches for our hiking trips, which was brilliant. Would definitely come back! 10/10!

The location is great as it is very close to hiking trails, making it easy to walk to the hikes. Plus, there is a helpful sign over the door to the restaurant, indicating the way out.

Our stay at Hotel Garganta Del Cares was surprisingly comfortable in a remote location. The room was excellent - very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent if you are doing the Ruta del Cares trail, as it is the closest hotel to the start of the walk. The bathroom facilities were the best we had in various accommodations in Spain. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was average, but the breakfast was fine for starting the walk. I highly recommend staying here if you're doing the Cares trail.

The location was perfect for our outdoor adventures, with activities like hiking and canoeing right at our doorstep. The kids loved exploring the beautiful surroundings, and we found ourselves immersed in nature throughout our stay. It was a great opportunity for our little ones to learn and appreciate the outdoors.

For dads, it would be great if the hotel could provide some more family-friendly amenities.

We spent the days conquering thrilling hiking trails and canoeing in breathtaking rivers. Can't wait to come back and do it all over again!

The only thing we could ask for was a bit more nightlife fun near the hotel. We love to party and it would have been awesome to have some late-night entertainment options in the area.
